Jazz — the Music of Victory!

Jazz-Poetry Readings

For the third year since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, Odesa has represented Ukraine on the UNESCO jazz map, reminding participants from 190 countries involved in musical events that we firmly believe — “Jazz is the Music of Victory!”
The festival is already registered on the UNESCO International Jazz Day website.

Sing/Talk

On April 30 at 2:00 PM, in the Golden Hall of the Odesa Literary Museum, as part of the festival Jazz — the Music of Victory! dedicated to UNESCO International Jazz Day, jazz-poetry readings Sing/Talk will take place. Poets and jazz musicians from the USA, Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, France, Denmark, and Ukraine will participate in the evening.

At this event, letters from different languages will come together — including the letters used by music itself: notes. Despite their differences, the main purpose of their gathering is to sing and converse about what makes us alive, what makes us human.
