“If you were a flower”
If you were a flowerI’d be a butterfly,if you were a waveI’d be the foam,if you were a breezeI’d be a leaf,if you were a riverI’d be the river mouth,if you were a roofI’d be the gutter,if you were a voiceI’d be the echo,if you were a robinI’d be a berry a larva a worm,if you were a spriteI’d be a Farfarello,if you were a larkI’d be the sky,if you were silence,I’d be a song.
*In the original: Farfarello (Italian: Farfarello) — a winged demon featured in Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy and in several other works.
