Heidelberg — Literaturstadt Heidelberg — continues to speak to us in the language of poetry. Today, that voice belongs to Silvana Marijanović.

Silvana Marijanović was born in Mostar and currently lives and works in Heidelberg.
In 2019, she published her first poetry collection, Heidelberg, with the Belgrade-based publishing house Mali Vrt. Her second collection, Vrelo, was released in 2024 by Povelja in Kraljevo, Serbia. That same year, the German translation of her debut work, Heidelberg, was published by Eta Verlag in Berlin.

Her poems have appeared in literary journals and on numerous poetry platforms. Silvana Marijanović’s work has been translated into Slovenian, German, Albanian, and English. In 2021, in Heidelberg, she was shortlisted for the Heidelberg Authors’ Prize.
